Chirmax Monolac
Absorbable surgical suture – Mid-term absorbable monofilament (Poliglecaprone class). Monofilament copolymer of glycolide and ε-caprolactone. Suture color for this version: violet.
Properties
- Monofilament structure: no capillary effect, smooth tissue passage
- Very low inflammatory reaction during absorption
- Degrades into adipic acid, fully metabolized
- Excellent handling and knot-tying properties

- Day 1 – 100%
- Day 7 – 60% (violet) / 50% (undyed)
- Day 14 – 30% (violet) / 20% (undyed)
- Mass absorption – 90–120 days (complete mass absorption)

- Soft tissue adaptation and ligatures in all surgical disciplines
- Subcutaneous and intracutaneous sutures
- Closure of superficial wounds (undyed version)
Contraindications
Do not use in tissues subject to stretching, tension, or distension, or requiring long-term mechanical support.

With atraumatic needle (single thread), as pre-cut ligature threads (multi-packs, e.g., 3 × 45 cm) or as Chirapack spool (300 cm, 20 pieces per box).
